logistics

TPF Group understands that logistics can be crucial to your reputation with customers. By taking this seriously, we have built a reputation for successfully delivering complex warehouse and logistics solutions. Many have been won in the aggressive retail environment where efficiency often results in competitive advantage. From our various sites we fulfill the requirements of Allianz, Ladbrokes, Hilton, P&O, Wetherspoons and the Tussauds Group, among others. As well as resolving complex pick-and-pack requirements, we also offer customer-related services such as response handling and returns management.

In April 2009 we opened our huge new Irthlingborough facility to add yet another new dimension to our fast-expanding service proposition. This new facility will, however, take our solution to a whole new level. Here’s a flavour of what we’re now able to offer:

Warehousing

  • Total capacity of 61.000 sq ft, 4,000 pallet locations, 4,300 manual hand-picking locations and 5,000 sq ft of hand collation area

  • 150,000 picks per annum

  • Safe, secure, electronic-card entry deep storage. This complex operation is kept in check by Axis, our very own information management system.

Fulfilment

  • Pick and pack, assemble, label and dispatch.

  • 48-hour turnaround guaranteed – by parcel, carrier, pallet service or bespoke courier – anywhere in the UK. If you want it quicker – we can, we’ve achieved same day nationwide.

  • Our integrated information management system, Axis, provides automated import and creation of pick lists and consignment documents, providing our customers with online inventory and a real-time, automated 24/7 tracking and POD facility.

  • We can create a customer website featuring online ordering with a bespoke order facility. In addition, our central customer service team can provide a help desk function.

  • Our online management system Axis enables authorised users to select their own product mix, backed up by automated email confirmation and capped budget control functionality.

  • Full system disaster recovery (DR) is, of course, built in.

  • Store/venue profiling database enables variable requirements to be produced, ensuring the correct collateral goes to the correct location at the right time. This is controlled by a stock system that provides regular stock checks with capped budget management control, undertaken with a barcode scan management system.

Delivery

  • In addition to traditional methods we can arrange your postal management requirements, including deregulated post options.

  • We can arrange any type of delivery from a 1kg parcel to 1,000 pallets, anywhere in the world.

  • We’re famous for our business turnaround time – 35% of jobs are despatched within 24hours. No mean feat when you consider that we despatch thousands of items to hundreds of locations every day!
